Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 10, 2026  ·  Last Updated: March 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Keler Group / TipaTech (“TipaTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information through the commercial website located at b2c.tipatech.me (the “Site”). By using the Site, you acknowledge this Policy.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Site operated by TipaTech (Keler Group), a product showcase and lead-generation platform for TipaTech water treatment systems. The Site is intended for users in the United States. If you access the Site from another jurisdiction, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

This Policy covers personal information collected through the Site, including lead capture forms, AI-powered chat interactions, and automatic technical data. It does not govern separate B2B portals, distributor systems, or customer-account services, which may be covered by separate notices.

2. Summary of the Site’s Data Model

The Site is a commercial product showcase and lead-generation platform. Unlike a purely informational website, the Site actively collects contact and preference information from visitors who express interest in TipaTech products.

  • Visitors may browse product information, pricing, and educational content without submitting personal information.
  • Visitors who submit a lead capture form provide contact details that are stored in our database (Prisma/PostgreSQL) and used to follow up regarding their product inquiry.
  • Visitors who interact with our AI chat assistant have their messages processed through OpenAI’s API in real time.
  • The Site does not currently process online payments or collect financial data.
  • No user accounts are required to browse the Site.

3. Categories of Personal Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

  • Lead form submissions: full name, email address, phone number, zip code, product interest (T-18 or LotusDY), and preferred contact method.
  • Chat interactions: messages you send to our AI chat assistant, including any personal details you voluntarily share in conversation.
  • Contact inquiries: messages submitted through the contact page, including name, email, and message content.
  • SMS/phone consent records: your opt-in status, the timestamp of consent, and the version of the consent language you agreed to.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Technical data: IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Product interest data: which product pages you viewed, which forms you submitted, and which sections of the Site you interacted with.
  • Cookie and storage data: theme preference (stored in localStorage), session identifiers, and similar data described in Section 9.

We do not intend to collect sensitive personal information (such as medical records, government ID numbers, or payment card data) through the Site. Please do not submit such information through any form or chat.

4. Sources of Personal Information

  • Directly from you when you submit a lead form, contact form, or chat message.
  • Automatically from your browser or device when you navigate the Site (server logs, cookies, localStorage).
  • From service providers that support Site hosting, security, database operations, email delivery, and AI processing.
  • From public sources or business contacts if needed to respond to a business inquiry you initiated.

5. How We Use Personal Information

  • To operate, secure, and maintain the Site and its features.
  • To respond to your product inquiries and provide requested information about TipaTech systems.
  • To contact you regarding products you expressed interest in, including by phone, email, or text message (subject to your consent choices).
  • To provide AI-powered customer support and product guidance through our chat assistant.
  • To match you with local installation specialists who can fulfill your product request.
  • To send product information, pricing updates, and promotional communications where you have provided consent or where permitted by law.
  • To monitor and improve Site performance, usability, and content quality.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, or technical issues.
  • To comply with TCPA and applicable telemarketing regulations, including maintaining records of consent.
  • To comply with other legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect our rights or the rights of others.

6. Disclosures of Personal Information

We may share personal information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers: companies that perform services on our behalf, including website hosting, database management, email delivery, security, spam filtering, and IT support, subject to appropriate contractual restrictions.
  • OpenAI: when you interact with our AI chat assistant, your messages are transmitted to OpenAI’s API for processing. OpenAI’s use of this data is governed by OpenAI’s privacy policy and data processing terms.
  • Installation partners: if you submit a lead form requesting installation services, we may share your contact information with local authorized installation specialists to fulfill your request.
  • SMS and communications platforms: if you opted in to receive text messages, your phone number may be shared with our SMS service provider solely for the purpose of sending you the messages you consented to receive.
  • Professional advisors: legal, accounting, or insurance advisors where reasonably necessary.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities: if required by law, subpoena, court order, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your consent.

7. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) & SMS Communications

The Site includes a lead capture form with an optional consent checkbox for telephone and SMS communications. The following applies if you check that box and submit the form:

  • You expressly consent to receive calls and text messages from TipaTech and its authorized representatives at the phone number you provided, including calls and texts made using automated telephone dialing systems or prerecorded/artificial voice messages.
  • Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You may request product information without providing phone consent.
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and our follow-up process.
  • You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. You may also opt out by contacting us at info@tipatech.com or calling +1 (917) 920-5404.
  • After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive further marketing texts after that.
  • We maintain records of your consent, including the timestamp and the version of consent language you agreed to, as required by applicable law.

8. AI-Powered Chat Assistant

The Site includes an AI chat assistant powered by OpenAI technology (GPT-4o-mini). The following applies to your use of the chat feature:

  • Messages you send in the chat are transmitted to OpenAI’s API in real time for processing. By using the chat, you acknowledge this data transfer.
  • Do not share sensitive personal information in chat, including medical conditions, government ID numbers, financial account details, or passwords.
  • Chat transcripts may be retained by TipaTech for up to 12 months for quality improvement, training, and compliance purposes.
  • The chatbot provides general product information and guidance only. It does not provide medical, legal, engineering, or professional advice, and its responses do not constitute binding commitments by TipaTech.
  • AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify important information with a TipaTech representative.

9. Cookies and Local Storage

The Site uses the following technologies to store information on your device:

  • Strictly necessary: Next.js session identifiers and security tokens required for the Site to function. These cannot be disabled.
  • Functional (localStorage): theme preference (light/dark mode) and chat session history stored locally in your browser. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you submit a form or chat message.
  • YouTube (on-demand only): the Site uses a “facade” pattern for YouTube videos — no YouTube cookies or scripts are loaded until you click the play button on a video thumbnail. Once you click play, YouTube may set its own cookies subject to Google’s privacy policy.
  • Analytics: if analytics tools are active on the Site, they will be listed here. Currently, no third-party analytics pixels are active.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect Site functionality.

You can update your cookie preferences at any time using the link in our website footer, or to open your preferences now.

10. Browser Signals and Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Where required by applicable U.S. state privacy law, we honor user-enabled opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) for activities that constitute sale or sharing of personal information under applicable law. Because the Site’s tracking configuration may change over time, the effect of a GPC signal may depend on which technologies are active at the time of your visit. We do not use GPC to disable strictly necessary cookies.

11. Your Choices

  • You may browse the Site without submitting any personal information.
  • You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP or contacting us (see Section 7).
  • You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
  • You may manage localStorage data through your browser’s developer tools or by clearing site data.
  • You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information as described in Section 15.

12. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Lead form data: retained for 24 months from the date of your last interaction with us, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.
  • Chat transcripts: retained for up to 12 months from the date of the conversation.
  • TCPA consent records: retained for a minimum of 4 years as required by applicable telemarketing regulations.
  • Technical logs: typically retained for 90 days for security and operational purposes.
  • Analytics data: aggregated and anonymized after 26 months.

Retention may also be affected by backup cycles, security logs, and legal hold obligations.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encrypted database storage, access controls, and secure HTTPS transmission.

No security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at info@tipatech.com.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at info@tipatech.com.

15. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know / access: request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing: we do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will provide the required opt-out mechanism.
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To submit a privacy rights request, contact us at info@tipatech.com or call +1 (917) 920-5404. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension). We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

If you are a California resident, you may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. Additional rights may apply under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or compliance changes. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice as appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after the updated Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
